Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Lyrello mobile application ("App") operated by Eigen Software LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Lyrello. The App is designed for parents and caregivers to use with their children. Children may use the App under parental supervision in "kid mode" but may not create accounts or record voice samples.

2. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.

3. Voice Cloning

By recording a voice sample, you grant us a limited license to process your voice recording for the sole purpose of generating audio narrations within the App. You represent that:

• You are the person whose voice is being recorded, or you have explicit consent from that person
• You will not use the voice cloning feature for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
• You will not attempt to clone the voice of any person without their knowledge and consent

4. Content

The books available in Lyrello are public domain works sourced from Project Gutenberg and similar repositories. These works are free to use. The audio narrations generated from your voice profile are created for your personal, non-commercial use within the App.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to extract, download, or redistribute the voice cloning model or technology
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Use the App to generate content that is harmful, abusive, or inappropriate for children
• Share your account credentials with others
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers

6. Intellectual Property

The Lyrello app, its design, code, and branding are the property of Eigen Software LLC. Public domain book content remains in the public domain. Audio generated using your voice profile is created for your personal use and may not be redistributed commercially.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep Lyrello available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Audio generation depends on third-party compute infrastructure and may experience delays or temporary unavailability.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your voice profiles and generated audio will be permanently deleted.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that voice cloning output will be perfectly accurate or that the App will be error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eigen Software LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
